This semi-detached Victorian home in the town centre has been completely reimagined. The homeowners needed more room, especially in the kitchen and dining areas, and they wanted a better connection to the garden.
Glazing was key to the transformation. A roof lantern was installed above the kitchen to bring in light from above, making the space feel taller and more open. On one side, a wall of Crittall glazing opens up the dining area to the garden, making it feel like a natural extension of the living space.
Combining these elements brings in light from every direction and helps the home feel connected, inside and out.
The house now feels entirely different. The new kitchen is the heart of the home, full of light and space, with clean lines and warm textures. The transition from the original structure to the extension is seamless, and every room feels brighter, more open, and better suited to how the family lives.
This project is a great example of what can happen when thoughtful design and expertly crafted glazing come together, turning a problem into a beautiful, functional solution.
