When the owners of a beautiful stone house in Wiltshire decided it was time to upgrade their glazing, their priority was clear: preserve the character of their heritage property while bringing in more natural light and modern energy efficiency. A Modern Solution for a Historic Home
The project involved the installation of 22 Crittall Homelight Plus windows across the property. This iconic steel-framed window design is renowned for its slim sightlines, which allow more glass and light, while offering the strength and durability that has made Crittall a leader in glazing for over a century.
To complement the home’s traditional stone façade, the windows were finished externally in RAL 7032 Matt Pebble Grey, a colour that harmonises beautifully with natural stone. Inside, the frames were painted RAL 1013 Matt Oyster White, a soft, neutral finish that reflects light and brightens the interiors.
